"Megaman: Polarity" is a crossover of the "Megaman" video game series and "Ikaruga." As such, there are elements from both games here. But not ALL elements from both games.

You will go through five stages. The beginning of each stage will give you a brief overview of the objective for the stage, leaving you to battle your way through to complete that mission.

The controls for the game are as follows:

LEFT and RIGHT will move Megaman in that respective direction.

UP will make Megaman jump.

SPACE will fire Megaman's weapon with his current polarity.

HOLD SPACE after firing to charge Megaman's Mega Buster. There are three levels of the Mega Buster including the normal standard shot. The opacity of the "Charge Gathering" indicates the level that will be fired upon RELEASING SPACE.

The SHIFT key will switch your weapon and shield polarity.

When your shield is BLUE, you fire blue energy. You absorb all blue energy fired at you, but you're vulnerable to red energy and physical weapons. Firing blue energy at an energy that fires red energy exclusively will damage that enemy more than blue.

The opposite is true when your shield is RED. You fire and absorb red energy, are vulnerable to blue energy and physical weapons and cause much damage to enemies that fire only blue energy.
